Mixed Netball
GRSC hosts social mixed netball on Tuesday evenings.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Netball seasons run in line with Victorian school terms.

TERM 2 2024 SEASON CALENDAR:

  • 11 June
  • 18 June - Finals Week 1
  • 25 June - Finals Week 2

REGISTRATIONS

Registrations open 2-4 weeks prior to the commencement of each season.

Team Registration ($20.00):

Registrations for the round 1 of Term 2 2024 season closes 14 April.

Late team registration closes 26 April.

A team representative must register the team via the GameDay portal.

Player Registration ($50.00):

All players must register using the team code provided by their representative.

  • Player Registration Form
  • Fill-ins may be used for a maximum of 2 games before they are required to register. All fill-ins must be added to the scoresheet. A $5.00 fee applies for fill-in players, payable on the night.
  • Players must be 14 years of age or older

Individual Registration:

Individuals looking for a team - please complete an Enquiry Form.

Players will be matched to a team or allocated to a new team subject to availability and total registrations.

COMPETITION STRUCTURE:

  • A & B graded divisions
  • Teams may be re-graded at discretion of competition management

Ladder:

  • Win - 3 points
  • Draw - 2 points
  • Loss - 1 point
  • Fofeit - 0 points
  • Bye - 3 points

Finals:

  • 2 week playoff format
  • Week 1: SF1 1st vs 4th, SF2 2nd vs 3rd
  • Week 2: GF Winner SF1 vs Winner SF2

Player finals eligibility: Minimum 50% of regular season matches.

UNIFORMS/EQUIPMENT

  • Teams supply own uniform
  • Uniforms to be of similar colour
  • Match balls supplied by GRSC

MATCHES

  • Tuesdays 6:30 - 9:00pm
  • Primarily indoors but some matches may be fixtured outdoors if required
  • 4 x 10 min quarters
  • Extra Time: 5 min (finals only)
  • 7 players on court per team
  • A registered player may not be used to fill-in for another team if that team has 7 or more players (regular season games only)
  • Maximum 1 male player per third
  • Teams to supply 1 x scorer (can be substitute)
  • Score sheet to be returned to front desk post game
