GRSC’s Tiny Stars Program is a youth development program assisting children between the ages of 4 to 6 years in their physical, mental and social development in sports based activities.
All activities are age appropriate and introduce children to sport and exercise through active play that is fun, non-competitive and challenging. The program started in 2018 and has helped over 200 local children in their physical skills development.
There are 4 sessions per year. Each session lasts for 6 weeks and runs in line with the Victorian school calendar. We work with children on the basics in the following activities.
Running, Kicking, Passing, Dribbling and Team Play (non-competitive)
Dribbling, Passing, Shooting and Body Movement.
Hand to Eye Coordination, Strength and Agility.
Hand to Eye Coordination, Catching, Throwing and Team Play (non-competitive).
A parent is required to be in attendance at each session (no Drop Offs). We believe that parental support plays the biggest part in children’s health and wellness outcomes and encourage parents to volunteer in activities (whenever possible).
Please make sure you've read our facility re-opening information before registering for this program.
